Company Development

From Heat Treatment Craft to an Integrated Manufacturing System

Dongte's manufacturing foundation grew out of long-standing heat-treatment practice in Chuzhou. According to company records, Kang Jiahao founded Chuzhou Kangtai Metal Heat Treatment Factory in 2006 with RMB 300,000 in start-up capital. Working with basic equipment and hands-on process knowledge, the workshop supported local agricultural machinery and hardware manufacturers and built its reputation on quality and keeping its word.

On July 16, 2019, his son Kang Shenchuan established Chuzhou Dongte Mold Co., Ltd. The new company did not simply reproduce the earlier workshop model. It extended that heat-treatment experience into mold manufacturing, precision machining and process control. Public registration records show that Kangtai's investor changed in 2020 and Kang Jiahao exited the operation, while the manufacturing knowledge and quality mindset continued to evolve within Dongte's newer system.

2006

Local Heat Treatment Roots

Chuzhou Kangtai Metal Heat Treatment Factory began serving local agricultural machinery and hardware manufacturers, earning trust through practical process knowledge and reliable work.

2019

The Second Generation Begins the Upgrade

Kang Shenchuan established Chuzhou Dongte Mold Co., Ltd., extending the business scope from heat treatment into mold manufacturing, metalworking and precision machining.

2020

The Earlier Operation Changes Hands

Kangtai's registered investor changed and Kang Jiahao exited the operation. Its accumulated understanding of materials and heat treatment continued to develop within Dongte's new system.

2023 to Present

A More Systematic Operation

Recognition as a National High-Tech Enterprise and inclusion in the Science and Technology SME program reflect a shift toward equipment-led, documented and repeatable manufacturing.
