During technical review and quotation, we confirm the project's material, critical dimensions, heat-treatment requirements, inspection scope, sampling and shipment documents. Production and inspection follow the agreed requirements.

Before Production

Agree the acceptance requirements first

The drawing is the inspection basis, but revision, critical characteristics, sampling and document requirements still need to be agreed before production.

  1. 01

    Drawing and revision

    We confirm the applicable drawing revision, units, material callout and technical notes. If the 2D drawing and 3D model conflict, production follows the requirement confirmed in writing.

  2. 02

    Critical requirements

    Identify critical dimensions, geometric requirements, mating surfaces, finish requirements and target hardness after heat treatment. Requirements that are not stated should not be assumed.

  3. 03

    Inspection scope

    We agree inspection items, sampling, measurement methods and acceptance criteria for the part. State any full-inspection requirement before quotation.

  4. 04

    Records and documents

    Request dimensional, hardness, heat-treatment or material records, report templates or shipment copies with the RFQ. Availability and format are confirmed in the quotation.

Project Workflow

From review to shipment

Each stage follows the agreed drawing, order and inspection arrangement.

  1. 01

    Requirement review

    Review the drawing, material, quantity, requested delivery date and acceptance requirements, and identify items that need clarification.

  2. 02

    Agree inspection arrangements

    Define critical characteristics, inspection stages, sampling frequency and shipment documents in the quotation or order.

  3. 03

    Incoming checks

    Incoming checks are arranged to the order requirements. Material information to be checked and the record format are defined for the project.

  4. 04

    In-process checks

    During machining and heat treatment, agreed process and inspection points are checked, with key results recorded where required by the project.

  5. 05

    Final inspection

    Finished parts are inspected against the drawing, order and agreed inspection scope. Sampling or full inspection follows the project agreement.

  6. 06

    Shipment review

    Before shipment, quantity, identification, packaging and agreed documents are checked. Estimated lead time and shipping arrangements follow the order confirmation.

Inspection Scope

Inspection is project specific

Inspection varies with part geometry, quantity and application. It does not mean every characteristic is checked on every part by default. Tolerance capability also depends on the feature, size, material, heat treatment and measurement method, and is confirmed after drawing review.

Dimensions and geometry
Drawing dimensions, fits and geometric requirements. Mark critical characteristics clearly.
Visual and surface requirements
Appearance, burr condition, surface condition and other stated requirements.
Hardness and heat treatment
Target hardness, test locations, frequency and record format are agreed before production.
Shipment review
Quantity, part identification, packaging requirements and agreed documents.

Document requirements vary by buyer. State the document name, content, language, template and delivery method with the RFQ. Availability and format are subject to the written quotation.
